This morning while I was cleaning the kitchen little miss Lulu sat in her room and wrote a blog post which I promised her I would post here... Spelling mistakes and all haha. She has wisdom so so so far beyond her seven years. I love her.
I wish people could say more then what others want to hear I wish that people wouldn’t judge others because maybe right now someone is judgeing you in a mean way I know I have juged befor and I am not emberrsed for it because well do you ever get that feeling when you first meet someone and you actt4ed so nice but when you walked away you thought they where so roude well I know how you feel.well do you know what it feels like to be broken down and then think I can get back up I think that to but life Is not that easy we all know you maybe feel broke inside but you just never show it do you know how on tv they may say tell an adult if you get bulled well still its not that easy what happens if the bully says tell enyone and I will do something to you I don’t know that feeling but if you do right now stay strong this is all I have to say right now just remember I don’t know all the answers to these but you do this is goodbye from lulu bob.

A whole lot of jumbled thoughts and photos.
One time I thought it would be fun to braid all of Lu's hair, complete with beads. Turns out two hours in, it wasn't so fun. Three hours in it definitely wasn't fun. Four hours in and forty braids later however, it was quite satisfying.
One night a few weeks ago, we took the kids to see Into the Storm, we walked out of the theatre into
the craziest storm we've had for awhile. High quality entertainment.
Lulu made face masks. Out of frozen blueberries, biscuit mix (actually more like scone mix but America is weird so whatevs.), and water. Hilarity ensued and my face was silky smooth. (kinda.)
Sometimes I forget that where is live is actually kinda pretty. It's pretty.
We had another thunderstorm (shocking) so this little cutie brought his laptop to hang with me until it passed.
I spent a day at starbucks. My coffee made me smile, and I think I moved up a rank in white girl status.
(hi daddy. this will help you understand the white girl comment. cool.)
I built some chairs coz I'm a strong independent woman who don't need no man.
These cuties spent a night together on the couch learning the words to Bang Bang. Let me tell you, listening to a 7 year old and a 9 year old sing a long to the radio really does open your eyes to how inappropriate the majority of songs are.
We went frog hunting, it was a success. It also made me very nostalgic haha.
We also went to a roller derby. I now know many of the rules of flat track roller derby, woo!
And this little miss got her face painted, ofcourse!
I officially declared fall a MYTH.
Although, in fall's defense it has dropped to be in the mid 20s in the morning, getting up to the early 30s in the afternoon, so its definitely getting cooler.
This photo was taken a year ago. I can not believe it. I'm still smitten with that sweet babe. Happy first birthday my beautiful Morgie moo!
These things made me laugh this week.
And I found these miscellaneous photos on my phone too!
So that sums up the last few weeks of my life quite nicely haha.
*Things that were not photographed*
- Watching the first two seasons of Orange is the New Black on Netflix
- Getting Sebastian ready for school last Monday morning only to realise he didn't have a single pair of shoes at our house
-Eating a leisurely breakfast with my main dude and playing two truths, one lie while waiting for his dad to drop some shoes over
-Laughing so hard we spilled milk while playing two truths, one lie
- Gaining an A-, A and A- in uni so far
- Telling my Nana that I got a tattoo. She wasn't happy. Sorry nana!
- Snapchatting my little brother. It's not a pretty sight.
- Being sassed by Hana even though she's only two, oh dear.
- Personal training sessions that render me unable to walk for days
- Daily dance parties to Shake It Off

202.
202.
The telephone area code for Washington DC.
A Smith number,
and the number of days I've been calling the US of A home.
Weird.
In 193 days my visa will expire, I guess technically I'm just over halfway through.
Even weirder.
Fall officially started Monday two weeks ago. It is yet to get under 27c and I am almost certain Fall is a myth created by the Starbucks marketing team to help sell their Pumpkin Spiced Latte, and to help every other American justify putting pumpkin in everything. But hey, I'm not here to judge.
Last weekend a couple of friends and I went into Fort Lauderdale to see The Maze Runner at the dine-in movies.Ordering yum food mid movie to have delivered directly to your seat? Yes please. Not taking out a mortgage against my non-existent assets to go the movies? Double yes please.
Sometimes, Lauren and I text each other to inform the other about the consistency of our meal replacement shakes and whether or not we achieved the perfect water-powder ratio. Life in America is thrilling folks.
I watched Under the Tuscan Sun last night in my pjs while eating ice cream and chocolate brownie. Alone. Now I am currently trying to work out the logistics of moving to Tuscany and buying a villa to live in with my pregnant gay best friend. Since I don't have a pregnant gay best friend or the finances, the odds are looking slightly against me. Unfortunate.
I have no fascinating things left to ramble about, sad. I'm going to go to the gym and then find an indie cafe to have lunch in to counteract my workout. Happy Sundays.
