Christmas came and went quickly, as per norm. In the few days prior to Christmas Stephanie's friends from Canada came to visit and soak up some sun. We had a good couple of days with them showing them around, spending time at the beach and in the pool, playing board games and swapping stories.
Christmas Eve the kids went to their dads for the night and Stephanie sung in the church choir and I opted to stay home and skype Kylee and Missy for a few hours before ordering in Chinese and watching Christmas movies followed by skyping all mums family.
The kids were over early on Christmas morning with their dad to open presents. We spent a few hours opening and playing with presents then headed to the movies to see Annie. After the movies we came home and ordered pizza for dinner.
A few days after Christmas, Catherine flew in from the UK, to spend New Years. We headed over to the Bahamas for a couple of nights.
We also spent a day in Miami, went had lunch at five guys, went window shopping at Dash, and soaked up the sun while people watching in South Beach.

DC/Baltimore
Life has been crazy.
I spent the first weekend of December in Washington DC and Baltimore. I had to take a course in Baltimore on Saturday and Sunday, so I flew in early on Friday morning and caught the train down to DC for the day. I spent the day doing a tour, seeing the sights and soaking up the cold weather.
Saturday and Sunday were spent at a hotel in Baltimore completing a course to fulfill part of my visa requirements. I had so much fun. I met some Australian girls who were hilarious, and got to catch up with some friends I had made in New York when I first got here. On Saturday night we ventured into downtown Baltimore to Cracker Barrel for dinner, where we had a full American dinner, complete with biscuits and gravy. Next weekend I'm heading back to do the final part of my credits, and hopefully I'll get to experience snow for the first time!
