Bahamas and things.

Oh heyyyyyy.

Tiffany and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas on Saturday and it was beautiful! I gambled in a casino for the first time, it cost me $2 and I won nothing so I guess I don't have Nana's luck aaaand I'll probably never waste money doing it again haha. Our cruise left from Miami and went to Bimini Island Resort so I also got to see my first little bit of Miami. We spent the day on the island at the beach snorkeling and soaking up the sun. It was so beautiful and relaxing! The cruise ship was a party both ways which made for some very entertaining people watching.

Alsooooo, I'm off to San Fran this weekend on impulse to stay with Lauren who I met in New York and then in June I'm off to London for a week to see Catherine, so exciting!!!

Easter

Easter isn't a looooong public holiday filled weekend here like it is at home. On Thursday the kids had 'Go to Work with Your Parents Day' - (Turns out it is actually a real thing, and not just something you see on tv) and because their mum works from home and their Dad is an ED nurse they ended up grocery shopping with Stephanie and I in the morning and then spent the afternoon playing with the other kids in the complex whose parents also work from home or are stay at home mums. On Friday the kids had the day off school for Good Friday (even though it isn't actually a public holiday here,) so they spent Friday and Saturday at their dads house.

I spent Good Friday reading by the pool and then Tiffany and I went and got our nails done, then on Saturday I did much the same and then Tiffany and I watched the first Hunger Games movie and I realised what I'd been missing out on by never seeing them haha. When I got home I got to play the Easter Bunny and put out the kids eggs to find the next morning.

Easter Sunday was definitely very different to being at home. The kids got up and found their eggs and then Stephanie went to church to sing for the choir and the kids and I went to the pool for the morning, then Stephanie and I both went to the gym around lunchtime which, ironically, was the busiest I've ever seen it, then we took the kids to Off the Wall, a large indoor trampoline playground which was heaps of fun! After Off the Wall we came home and had an Easter BBQ dinner with Tiffany and her kids. It definitely was a different Easter to what we normally do at home but enjoyable none the less!

Yesterday afternoon I went to the post office and picked up a parcel from Mum with our usual Easter eggs from home which I was pretty excited about. The kids were thrilled to have received Lindt Bunnies each too. Apparently the Easter bunny used to bring them every year when they lived in Canada but he didn't bring them this year (because we didn't find any) so that was exciting for them.

Tae Kwon Do

Last Saturday my little kidlets did their yellow belt testing at Tae Kwon Do and after a week long wait to find out whether or not they had passed they were awarded their belts this morning!

Mr. Sebastian being awarded his belt.

Miss Lucina getting her belt.

One day I will actually use my camera and not my shitty phone camera and take some decent photos haha.

And I bought a new sippy cup at Walmart today. Yay me.

One day I will also blog better but until then this is all you're getting haha. Sorry.

Bowling

On Saturday night I went bowling with another family from out complex. I suck. I got secerly beaten by two young children. Twice. So I don't think I'll be going bowling again any time soon.

Sexy bowling shoes ft. nasty carpet and new pants (which Lulu thinks look like pyjamas and has politely asked me to never wear again while picking her up from school)

That one time I couldn't get off 13.... :(

Depressing final scores of the first game.

My I hate bowling photo care of little miss Sofia who turned 5 on Sunday, which of course called for a pool party!
