I went to the Bahamas again. Shocking. It was my birthday present to myself... from myself. That sounds sad. I took the 27 minute flight over late Friday afternoon and flew back late Sunday afternoon. It was grand.
I stayed with some family friends who we haven't seen for awhile and it was great. It was so nice to have some time to myself and relax!
We spent Saturday morning out on the boat in the most stunning weather, it was amazing. I didn't realise how much I miss being able to go out on the boat.
Then we headed back to their house for a drink before walking out their front door and along the beach to a beachfront bar where we spent the afternoon. It was beautiful, I wish I'd taken photos but I didn't have my camera because it's also a notorious area for crime apparently. After we'd had lunch and drunk a *excessive* amount of cocktails we headed home and to skype our families, make dinner and drink wine.

On Sunday it was raining so we spent the day watching the amazing thunderstorms, chatting and watching movies. It was so nice to just relax. We ordered in lunch and I tried my first 'philly cheese steak,' which is basically a sub with thinly sliced steak, mayo and cheese on it. It was very American haha.
